A number of years ago, there was a ski resort in Rocky Mountain National Park named Hidden Valley Ski Resort. Many people skied there and there were numerous trails (seen on the map in the video). Now, the ski resort is only a memory as it has been permanently closed forever.
We decided to snowshoe up the T-Bar lift trail, go across to the bowls and snowshoe down the main trail back to the place where the original ski lodge was.
On another day (not in this video), we skinned up the main trail with our downhill skis to 12,500’ and took a single run from the bowls down to the ski lodge. But that’s for another story at another time.
