Snowshoeing up to the Loch is a wonderful hike as long as there isn't a whiteout on the way up or down.
Just make sure you don't get lost and leave enough time to get back down as it's not the trip up as it's always the trip down. Watch out for sink holes as you always need to place your poles ahead of you.
