If you’re lucky enough and the weather has been really cold, you will have the opportunity of snowshoeing up the river from the Mills Lake Trail to the Loch in Rocky Mountain National Park. You might hear some hint of the river sounds underneath you. Just be a bit careful that you don’t go over a sink hole and find yourself a few feet under stuck in the snow. And, of course, be sure to go with at least one other person or more in case you need any help along the way. It is a great snowshoeing experience.
