Saving The Endangered Piping Plovers
Saving The Endangered Piping Plovers
Every year during the beginning of June or the end of Nay, the Piping Plovers come to this long stretch of beach on the National Seashore. String is strung down the beach on poles (about 2 miles) to indicate that no one is supposed to walk past the string. The Piping Plovers are an endangered species and they make their nests on the beach. I photograph the birds every year.
