While hiking on a trail in Rocky Mountain National Park, I came to an opening on the trail with a lot of wildflowers. I stopped to take some macro photographs and when I looked up, I was surrounded by 2 Coyotes. They were about 30' away from me and I didn't move. They started circling me and I picked up my camera to photograph them as I didn't want to make any sudden moves to scare them as I felt I was possibly in a very dangerous situation. They both finally sat down and watched me as I backed away, turned around an went as fast I could walk to get away from the Coyote situation. I don't recommend this approach to photographing Coyotes.
