The Great Horned Owl is a magnificent bird and if you are lucky enough to see one, then maybe you will even luckier enough to photograph the bird. Great Horned Owls begin nesting very early in the north, and their deep hoots may be heard rolling across the forest on mid-winter nights. Try to go out to find the bird very early in the AM or very late in the day.
