Erosion Continues As 30+ Feet Are Gone

The pipe that comes out of the sand dune was probably a very old pipe that came from a building that no longer exists on top of the dunes. Unfortunately, the pipe used to drain in the sand dune that does not exist today.

At the beginning of last summer, 11 months ago, there was only 2 feet of pipe showing out of the dunes. Now you can see, by the length of the pipe showing, about 30+ feet of the dunes are gone. Erosion continues as the water get higher in the ocean and the storms are a lot stronger, too.
