A Day To Always Remember

When I had the old Outdoor Eyes Forum (and before Meetup Groups), we would announce different hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park. We coordinated all of hikes on the old Outdoor Eyes Forum. That Saturday we were to meet at a Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park and then hike up to the Loch. The night before, there was an amazing amount of snowfall. We had decided to hike up the frozen river bed to the Loch and no one on the hike was disappointed that day (as you can see in the photograph). We broke through the 2'-3' foot high snow as we were the first to arrive at the Loch that day. The smiles on everyone's faces didn't disappear to that night.

It was a day to remember for sure! And a shout out to Debbie if she happens to stop by and join the new Outdoor Eyes Forum as she was a member of the old Outdoor Eyes Forum. :D
