The Mills Lake Hike in Rocky Mountain National Park is a great hike. The only problem these days is that the Glacier Gorge parking lot becomes filled up by 6:00am and you now have to park in the Bear Lake parking lot. It adds another 1 mile to the hike and when you finish with the hike, you have to walk uphill for 1/2+ miles to get back to your car. You might want to take the shuttle in and the shuttle can drop you off at the Glacier Gorge parking lot or go on your hike during the off season. Obviously, the fall season has the most beauty as you can see in the leaves.

This photograph is the beginning of the Mills Lake hike.

The whole hike is gorgeous and there are many different views along the hike. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy your time when you arrive at Mills Lake. You can also continue your hike to Black Lake, but that will add some additional mileage and extra time to your hike. Enjoy!
A hike a day... keeps your head cleared away.

A lot going on in the photograph and I would have tried a vertical photograph by taking out part of the left side and adding additional sky. Maybe standing a bit more to the right if possible? With a vertical, your eyes would be focused on the trail more and it would lead your eyes right down the trail. Just my 2 cents worth. :) Not sure if it's even a valid thought?
Just go outside and you might be surprised on what you would have just missed seeing.
