Bird photography is always challenging as you have a subject that defies are rules for taking a quality photograph. The bird has to land at a photographic background, has to stay for a while and hopefully does something unique with its feathers to make an interesting photograph. This is a photograph of an Ibis, a bird I don't see around too often.
Just taking a walk with my camera in hand makes my day. It's the little things in life that matter.

You caught the bird in a wonderful pose. You must have been a distance away as the photograph is a bit blurry and over sharpened a bit. But sometimes, that's the only way to photograph a bird at a distance. That is the tough part about photographing the birds. You have to be as close as possible and usually it's not possible.
