Bryce Canyon is absolutely an awesome national park to hike and photograph. Bryce Canyon is an amphitheater of the greatest concentration of "hoodoos" on Earth. The national park does become crowded and it becomes very hot during the summer days as it attracts millions of visitors every year. So bring numerous lenses as there are so many different photography moments in Bryce Canyon. I am just about to start on my hike through the whole Bryce Canyon amphitheater. And don't forget based on sunrise and sunset, there is a completely different feeling and view for Bryce Canyon.
