Every year the Great Horned Owl comes back to this ledge to make a nest. I wait each year for the babies to appear and I photograph the Owls as much as possible. The ledge is approximately 75+ feet high and there is another 100+ feet to the top of the cliff.

We were driving down the road when we saw a Red-Shouldered Hawk sitting on a branch on the side of the road. I rolled down my window and the rest was history!

Pelicans are a very large bird, always hanging out for a chance to grab fish at a moment's notice... especially next to the docks when the fishing boats come in. There is always a chance for fish from the fishing boats that throw out some of the smaller fish into the sea.
