Nothing is more special than launching early in the morning and paddling out to a place that no one is near for miles around. It’s not often that you can get away from the crowds that normally manage to change that experience. :!:

Rapid running in a small kayak is very demanding with a high adrenal rush. Photography the kayakers seem easy until you try to obtain a perfect shot. Most of your photos will not be what you see and experience.

The winter months have arrived and these canoes are still outside. Due to the material they are made from, there won’t be any damage over the winter months. But… trees fall in this area all the time. We will have to keep our eyes open as we hike the trail next to these canoes.

Sometimes you paddle all around for hours looking for birds and when you land to take the kayaks out, the shore birds are right next to where you started from. :D
