A youngster found a nice soft spot to relax. Many times during a hike, you can see where an animal made a bed area for the night as there is an indentation in the soft pine needles. All you can do is visualize which animal it was, but in this case I know what the animal was. :D

Very friendly mammals, but sometimes too friendly as they once had to remove a Marmot who was stealing everyone’s lunch on the way to Chasm Lake in RMNP. :o

Early in the morning, you might have a chance to photograph the seals close to shore as there aren’t any crowds on the beach yet, so the seals feel safe to come close to shore and play around.

I guess the deer aren’t overly concern with the Coyote near them… or are they?

As I was hiking in the mountains, a couple of coyotes approached me. I remained calm while I photographed the coyotes and at the same time trying to figure out what was the best way to get out. I remained calm and after 10 minutes they both sat down while I slowly walked away.

Our home had this huge rock next to our home and during the winter the Bug Horned Sheep used to lay outside on the rock when the sun was hot.

Squirrels are a great way to practice your wildlife photography as you see them everywhere and even in your backyard. It gives you a chance to get a real nice photograph as many of your squirrel photographs will just be ok. Practice makes you a better photographer.
