This was only a very small waterfall from a river in RMNP. I set the shutter speed slower and zoomed in and now the photograph looks like a large waterfall as there’s no perspective to indicate it wasn’t. 😄. :#critique:
You can’t miss out when you have threatening clouds in the sky. Places like Colorado usually only have big blue sky with no clouds. Clouds are so important with a landscape photograph.
Sometimes less is more with landscape photography as the few elements in the photograph seem to be more important and those elements are seen more clearly. It makes for an interesting photograph.
Set your shutter speed slower and experiment on what the river looks like at slower shutter speeds. This one was my favorite of all the photographs I shot that day.
