...Times Have Changed but the Breeze...
    by Johnny Debowski

I grew up on the outskirts of the city. At a young age I found myself looking out the window waiting for OE Digital Photography Outdoor Eyes a thunderstorm or glued to the television when their was a hint of snow flakes in the air. The weather fascinated me as did the changing of the seasons.  Top

    If Your Can't Beat Them...
    Then Join Them!

Every winter, it is the same old thing... snow, snow shoveling, plowing, cold, wet, no birds, no sun OE Digital Photography Outdoor Eyes and on and on. You can provide a list of over two pages about everything there is about the winter that seems to aggravate people who love the spring, the fall and the summer. But, now there is a new thing for me to become aggravated about! It's those squirrels that attack my bird feeders during the winter. For most of the time during the other 3 seasons, they seem to be receptive to the idea that some seeds thrown on the ground is enough to keep them off the bird feeders. But as soon as it becomes a little colder and the squirrels sense that there might be a problem finding enough food, they go into a panic mode. Anything and everything that can be eaten will... and that includes the bird food in the bird feeders. Last year I did everything that I could think of and it never worked. They just were too smart! Well this year, I outsmarted them and bought them their own feeder with a door. The door is the trick! They think that they are outsmarting me by opening the door and eating! So, we both win. They keep off the bird feeders and I am out a few dollars spending the money for squirrel food. Now we both sit and laugh at each other!  Top

    Victoria Falling (Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe)
    by Michael J. Kelly

As he turned to me his facial expression killed any remaining doubt about our new circumstances. "We are OE Digital Photography Outdoor Eyes in an emergency situation, please remain calm". These words, followed by his "Mayday Mayday" call into the radio sent a cold chill down my spine and through my bowels. We were flying at 100 miles per hour and one kilometer above absolutely desolate scrubland the only propeller had just blown off and the engine was dead.  Top
